Tarot 1 - Getting to Know the Tarot

Explore the fascinating world of the Tarot. Various Tarot decks
will be examined to discover the many interpretations of characters and symbols.
A short history of the Tarot will be discussed. Come join us
on the Fools
journey through the Major Arcana. The Major Arcana is the first 22 cards and is
the foundation of the 78-card Tarot deck. Students should bring a RiderWaite
Tarot Deck*, pen and paper for note taking.
Tarot 2 - The Court Cards

In this second of four sessions, the instructor will introduce
the participants to the Court Cards. Students will develop a relationship with
these characters and learn more about them.
Tarot 3 - The Suites
(#2869 Wed July 21 6:30-8:30pm )
In this third of four sessions, participants will look at the
four suites of the Tarot-Cups,Wands, Swords and Pentacales and discuss their
symbolism.
Tarot 4 - Tarot Readings
(#2870 Wed July 28 6:30-8:30pm )
The instructor and participants will discuss many different
Tarot card spreads in this last session and do sample readings for each other
further developing their relationship with their Tarot cards.
Instructor: Prudence J.M. Theriault is a Certified
Hypnotherapist, Certified Tarot Master/Instructor and professional Voice Actor.
She has been practicing Hypnotherapy since 1996, and reading the Tarot since
1995. Ms. Theriault has taught Columbia Greene Community College in Hudson since

Course fee: $30 per session or all four for $100 RiderWaite
