Instructor: Dorothea Carr has been actively engaged in the sale and
financing of residential Real Estate since 1983. Dottie is a licensed Real
Estate Broker and an approved instructor with NYS to teach qualifying courses
for Real Estate Salesperson and Broker licensing as well as required continuing
education. Dottie has written two courses approved by the Department of State
for continuing education credits. These courses focus on the basics of FHA
financing and Renovation Lending. Dottie has held management positions with
local and national mortgage lenders not only in the Capital District but also in
Atlanta, New Jersey and Washington D.C. She is an FHA DE Underwriter, and has
Veterans Administration loan approval authority. She currently works as an
Associate Broker with a local Real Estate company and as a Mortgage Loan
Consultant with an area mortgage broker. She is currently is a member of MBA,
NAR, NYSAR and GCAR, where she served for several years as a member of the
Education Committee.
