NYS Home Inspection
Continuing Education

Location: Colonie

Home inspectors will need to complete continuing education within their two-year license renewal period, prior to the expiration date in order to renew their license.

Continuing Education Requirements
  • Applicants whose license expiration renewal dates fall on or before December 30, 2008 will need to complete six hours of Department of State approved continuing education prior to renewal.
     
  • Those that fall on and after December 31, 2008 will need to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education prior to renewal.

Join Allan Sirota as he shares some of his 22 years experience inspecting homes. These classes will provide you with many interesting and practical examples of what to look for.

Upcoming Courses:

# 9677 Electrical inspection, covering: Service line, main panel, wiring outlets and codes. This course will detail both current and past construction methods, inspection and observation methods.
 Wednesday June 11  6:00-10:10pm

# 9678 Plumbing inspection, covering: water main, bathrooms, kitchens, septic systems and hot water. This course will detail both current and past installation methods, inspection and observation
 Tuesday August 5  6:00-10:10pm
