Creating Webpages with (X)HTML

Location: Latham

Explore (X)HTML markup, structure and formatting; add images, links and lists; create tables and forms; work with cascading style sheets; define selectors; format with styles; test and debug web pages.

In addition to learning to create web pages in HTML, students will learn how to create accessible and usable web pages by following the World Wide Web Consortium Guidelines. Following these guidelines makes web content more available to all users, regardless of ability, equipment, browsers or environment. Students will also learn what special codes to add and design techniques to provide optimal access and usability. Content accessibility guidelines are integrated throughout the presentation.

Recommended Preparation: Welcome to Windows XP or Welcome to Windows Vista or equivalent knowledge.
