Overview: With all of the advances in golf equipment and
technique, why are average handicaps the same as they were 15 years
ago? Because we've left out the most important factor --- the
biomechanics of the golfer! This class is two one-on-one private
sessions. The first is a 14-point muscle balancing assessment to
determine the limitations your body has for reproducing a
consistent, accurate swing. The second is your customized
flexibility program. This course is based on Paul Chek's
Whole-In-One Conditioning program.
Topics: proper warm-up •
muscle energy mobilization exercises for stabilizing the nervous
system and promoting swing fluidity •
correcting muscle imbalances that underlie common swing faults such
as hooking or slicing • avoiding or
alleviating chronic pain
Instructor: Kyle Jenks is a C.H.E.K. Certified Golf
Biomechanic and a long time golfer. He has a Bachelor's Degree in
Physical Education and works with two local chiropractors, teaching
patients Core Conditioning to assist them with recovery. He is also
a certified trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and
is an IDEA Elite level PFT.
